Our Labor and Delivery Department was recognized with the ALPHA Award at the GaPQC (Georgia Perinatal Quality Collaborative) annual Conference held in April at the Emory Conference Center. Recipients of this award have showcased a steadfast commitment to data transparency and accountability ensuring that critical information is accurately documented and reported. By consistently adhering to data submission requirements, our facility is playing a pivotal role in facilitating evidence-based decision making and driving continuous improvement efforts with the healthcare community. Memorial Hospital & Manor’s Labor and Delivery unit has participated in the Georgia Perinatal Quality Collaborative since 2018; working on initiatives to help decrease Maternal Mortality & Morbidity in the state.
