Understanding Your Bill
As a courtesy to you, Memorial Hospital and Manor will file your insurance claim. Your insurance coverage is a contract between you and your insurance company, therefore any questions or disagreements concerning payments must be settled between you and your insurance carrier. Many insurance companies require pre-admission certification for certain procedures. Please refer to your insurance card or contact your insurance carrier to determine if a pre-certification is required. If your insurance carrier does not pay your account within a reasonable period of time, you will be notified to make full and prompt payment. Please contact your insurance carrier regarding any questions about your coverage. In addition to hospital charges, you may also receive a bill from your personal physician, surgeon, anesthesiologist, pathologist or radiologist.
If you do not have insurance coverage, a patient accounts representative will assist you in making financial arrangements. Please contact the Patient Accounts Department at (229) 243-6143 if you have questions or concerns regarding financial arrangements.
