“I am very proud of the training and education our nurses continue to pursue for the betterment of themselves and our community,” said Lori Eubanks, Chief Nursing Officer at MHM. Three Emergency Department nurses, Amy Anderson, Hannah Bius, and Lorraine West, just completed their Trauma Nursing Core Course this past month. This is a 16- hour course developed by the Emergency Nurses Association to present a firm foundation in trauma nursing and to provide nurses with core or basic trauma cognitive knowledge and psychomotor skills that are associated with the delivery of professional nursing care to the trauma patient. “We are passionate about providing the best care possible in our Emergency Department every day. This training helps ensure we are prepared for anything that comes through our doors.” Eubanks stated.
