We are incredibly proud to announce that Memorial Hospital and Manor has been officially designated as a Remote Treatment Stroke Center by the Georgia Department of Public Health!
This achievement reflects the hard work, dedication, and teamwork of every staff member involved in stroke care. From rapid assessment to coordinated treatment, our team is committed to providing the safest, fastest, and highest-quality care for our community.
When it comes to stroke, time is tissue. If your friend or loved one is showing any signs of stroke, get them to the Emergency Room immediately.
Know the signs and symptoms of stroke:
• Sudden numbness or weakness of the face, arm, or leg—especially on one side
• Sudden confusion, trouble speaking, or difficulty understanding speech
• Sudden trouble seeing in one or both eyes
• Sudden trouble walking, dizziness, or loss of balance
• Sudden severe headache with no known cause
We are proud to be recognized as a Remote Treatment Stroke Center, and we want you to feel confident knowing that when you come to MHM, you are receiving the best care—right when it matters most.
