Description
Manages and oversees the daily operations and plans for the future direction of the Patient Access Department. Coordinates registration procedures with activities of other departments. Implements new programs and procedures to improve services, operations, and efficiency and to respond to changes within the institution, and the external environment. Establishes annual departmental goals and provides the overall direction regarding the department’s priorities and standards. This position reports directly to the Assistant Revenue Cycle Director.
Qualifications
High School Diploma is required. Preferred Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in EHR systems and insurance verification processes.
Experience
Preferred 3-5 years of experience in Patient Access, Registration, or Revenue Cycle Management; leadership experience required.
