Infection Prevention / Employee Health Nurse

Works directly with and is responsible to the Director of Quality/Risk Mgmt. Coordinates infection prevention activities for the hospital and nursing home in order to provide safe, quality patient/resident care. Reviews the results of employee health physicals and follows-up on employee exposures. Accountability is monitored through performance evaluation.

Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing. Licensed by Georgia Board of nursing to practice nursing. Experience in infection prevention. Managerial background. Advanced training in infection prevention preferred. A minimum of five years clinical experience in a hospital.
