Description
The OR Ward Clerk provides direct and indirect patient care to all age groups. It is his/her duty to assist in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the activities that occur in and around the operating room. The ward clerk is to perform clerical and receptionist duties as well as selected patient care duties and assist in maintaining the physical environment of the operating room.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in office coordinator or similar role. Experience in customer service. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good organization skills and able to prioritize and multitask. Knowledge of and/or experience with supply management and inventory patient scheduling and registration. Good working knowledge of and ability to demonstrate skills related to office equipment, systems, and procedures. Knowledge of accreditation standards and Compliance requirements. Must maintain current CPR certification.
