Memorial Hospital and Manor would like to say thank you to Bainbridge Pharmacy for consistently being a supporter of our hospital and community. One of the ways they have invested into our hospital each year is through the GA Heart Tax Credit Program. This year they have made a contribution of $20K for which we are very grateful. As a local business owner, Edward Reynolds sees the value of keeping state taxes working locally and being reinvested into our facility to benefit residents in Decatur and surrounding counties. Dr. Macy Tabb is now a Certified weight loss specialist!
We are happy to announce that Dr. Macy Tabb has passed her American Board of Obesity Medicine exam & is now a certified weight loss specialist/diplomate of the ABOM. She is certified to see all ages, including pediatric patients, if referred by their pediatrician/provider. She is excited to speak with you about your goals for weight loss and overall health and has several methods to get you to be the best version of you! Dr. Tabb already sees many patients who have had bariatric surgery by providing post-op long-term care for maintenance and monitoring, and looks to help those who are interested in this route. Employee of the Month – Wendy Howard – November 2023
Congratulations, Wendy Howard, for being our November Employee of the Month! She has had a couple of nominations, but the following best sums it up: “Let me tell you about Ms. Wendy. She is the best! She runs the show at Memorial Pediatrics. She treats her patients holistically- physically, emotionally, and mentally. She nourishes their emotional health by giving positive encouragement and instilling confidence that they can meet their health goals. She calls outside of appointments to check on the children to ensure everything is okay. She does this for my child, and I have heard from others that she does the same for them. Wendy operates with competence and has a matter-of-fact demeanor. Wendy deserves recognition for the asset she is to the organization.”

Employee of the Month – Courtny Williams – October 2023
Congratulations to Courtny Williams, our October Employee of the Month! Her co-worker had this to say about her: “Courtny has been a very dedicated, hardworking, and considerate employee of Memorial Eye Care for over 4 years. Courtny is an amazing planner, time manager, and versatile employee. She is a vital part of making sure our office runs smoothly. She is a very thorough and ambitious work-up technician. She makes extra effort to learn and be a well-rounded certified Tech. When she is the desk tech, she does a lot of extra things to keep Dr. Martin and the work-up techs moving through the day. She also heads up and works on referrals coming in and going out of the office. She is excellent at looking ahead, communicating, and reminding us all of upcoming events and scheduling issues. When someone is out of reception, she has no problem filling in to work check in or check out. She is a great comfort to me having her as a co-worker. It has really brightened my work and personal life having her here.”
