Bank OZK Contributes $100,000 to Memorial Hospital and Manor in Bainbridge, Georgia For The Eighth Consecutive Year

Bank OZK (Nasdaq: OZK) is pleased to announce a $100,000 contribution to Memorial Hospital and Manor in Bainbridge, Georgia through the Georgia HEART Hospital Program. This brings the total donated since 2018 by Bank OZK for this community hospital to $630,000.

Since 2018, Bank OZK has contributed over three million dollars through Georgia HEART, the statewide rural hospital organization expense tax credit program. Lawmakers enacted Georgia HEART to encourage taxpayers in Georgia to learn more about the financial and other challenges rural hospitals face and to contribute to improve their financial condition and patient offerings.“Once again this year, Bank OZK has gone above and beyond in supporting our hospital through the Georgia HEART Tax Credit Program,” said Jamie Sinko, Director of Development at Memorial Hospital and Manor. “Their longstanding partnership and continued generosity reflect a deep commitment to ensuring access to quality, full-service healthcare in our rural community. For this year’s Physician/Provider of the Year, we felt it was only fitting to recognize the tremendous loss we as well as our community experienced last year. In August 2024, Shay Chapman, a dedicated, well-loved, and deeply respected provider at Amelia Medical Plaza, departed from our organization and this world far too soon. Shay will always be remembered for the beautiful spirit she was, the care she gave so selflessly, and the profound impact she had on those around her. Her legacy of compassion, kindness, and excellence continues to inspire us each day. Gone but never forgotten.

The Delores “Delo” Eidson Award

Given to a Memorial Manor or Willow Ridge employee whose commitment to serving residents consistently extends beyond assigned responsibilities and whose caring efforts are inspirations to all. Nominees are judged on such qualities as dependability, respectfulness, and efficient patient care. This year’s recipient is described as dedicated, dependable, has a gift of giving, friendly, goes beyond the call of duty, very loving, and hardworking. Her leader says she comes in early to help and is always willing to go the extra mile to provide for the residents! This year’s Delores “Delo” Eidson Award goes to Shemeka Baulkman!
