We’re excited to share a new initiative in our Labor & Delivery unit designed with our moms, babies, and families in mind.
Beginning now, Quiet Time hours will be observed daily from 1:30 a.m. – 3:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
These dedicated rest periods are designed to create a calm, peaceful environment that promotes:
Healing and recovery for moms after delivery Stronger bonding time between parents and their newborn Improved rest for both mother and baby Support for successful breastfeeding Reduced noise and stimulation, helping babies adjust gently to the worldDuring Quiet Time, lights will be dimmed, hallway noise minimized, and interruptions limited to essential care only. Visitors may be asked to step out during these hours to help us protect this special time.
