Emergency Department
Description
Provides direct and indirect patient care to all age groups. Assists in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the activities that occur in and around the nurses’ station. Performs clerical and receptionist duties as well as selected patient care duties and assists in maintaining the physical environment of the nurses’ station.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent is required. CPR certification. Requires considerable amount of physical work utilizing proper body mechanics. Requires working under stressful conditions and working irregular hours.
Experience
Experience as Nurse Assistant or basic EMT preferred.
