VP Finance/CFO

Will provide expert counsel and direct the fiscal operations of Memorial Hospital and Manor. This includes providing clear, concise financial information, and making sound, educated, economic decisions for the health care system.  Will be responsible for overall executive oversight of general accounting, and patient business services, including third-party reimbursement, financial and statistical reporting functions of the organization in accordance with established policies and accounting procedures. The person in this position works under general supervision, is responsible for various shifts, may be subject to over 40 hours per week and/or callback as required, and may also be required to remain on campus immediately before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters.

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or other comparable degree; a CPA and/or MBA is preferred. At least five years’ experience in a senior finance or accounting position is preferred, preferably in a healthcare organization with a budget of at least $30 million. Experience working with information technology staff to manage finance and accounting software packages. Meditech experience preferred. Experience in a senior financial management role, partnering with executive staff, resulting in the development and implementation of creative financial management strategies. Significant experience in or knowledge of nonprofit accounting, including sophisticated fund and grant accounting, compliance, and reporting.
