Arranges for the efficient and orderly registration of patients via phone or personal contact with the patient, guarantor, or referring provider. Ensures that all insurance information has been verified and correctly entered into the system. Responsible for calculating deductibles and co-pay amounts and informing the patient of their obligations to include arranging for payment before the patient arrives. Obtains eligibility and benefits on all patients. Daily schedule may vary on an as needed basis. Cross training for all Registration positions is required. 


High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Two or four year degree preferred. Four years plus registration experience with emphasis on patient contact and accuracy. Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures is required. Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy at all times.
