Description
The function of the Information Representative is responsible for greeting patients and visitors, directing the flow of the facility, signing patients in to be seen by the registrar, assisting patients with their appointments, helping callers, providing support to the entire department, answering multi-line telephone systems, customer service duties, and all other general duties as required. Works cooperatively with all department Directors/Managers when necessary and reports directly to the Director of PAS.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Excellent communication skills, maintain a professional appearance at all times. Must have basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures. Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy at all times. Ability to work in an ever changing environment. Ability to work schedule as assigned. Ability to arrive to work on time as work schedule dictates.
Experience
Two or more years of customer service experience.
