Description
In service to Memorial Hospital and Manor Strategic Plan and the annual Memorial Hospital Quality Assurance and Improvement (QAPI) Plan, the Quality Compliance Coordinator helps plan, develop, implement, monitor, and improve the compliance programs throughout the facility to ultimately improve the quality of care at Memorial Hospital and Manor. Works closely with the quality/risk director to ensure implementation of the total quality management initiatives and processes: develops facility wide performance improvement activities and establish quality/performance improvement project teams. He/ she will develop, implement, educate, and enforce a facility-wide compliance and accreditation program. Coordinates process improvement activities to ensure more efficient and streamlined processes. Performs root cause and mapping analysis and coordinates and implements programs, policies, and practices to ensure facility-wide compliance with HIPPA and accreditation standards. He/she is responsible for accreditation body compliance and monthly progress.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in nursing or in a healthcare related field is required.
Experience
Preferred: 5 years of experience in healthcare accreditation. 5 years of experience in patient activities in a hospital setting. 2 years of experience in quality improvement, performance improvement or program management. 2 years of experience in project management.
