Infection Preventionist, RN

The Infection Prevention Coordinator registered nurse works directly with and is responsible to the Director of Quality/Risk Mgmt. Infection Prevention Coordinator coordinates infection prevention activities for the hospital in order to provide safe, quality patient/resident care. Accountability is monitored through performance evaluation.

Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing. Licensed by Georgia Board of nursing to practice nursing. Managerial background.

Experience in infection prevention, advanced training preferred. A minimum of five years clinical experience in a hospital setting.
