Description

Provide direct care services to employees on the job, assess and develop plans for employees to prevent work related injuries and illnesses, review the results of employee health physicals and follows up on employee exposures and manages the mandatory Influenza reporting. This person will be expected to adhere to all standards of the Georgia Board of Nursing, works directly with, and is responsible to the Human Resources Manager.

Qualifications

Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing. Georgia licensed Registered Nurse.

Experience

Experience in occupational health preferred. Working knowledge of microbiology, epidemiology, infectious diseases, aseptic techniques, and current practices. A minimum of five years hospital experience preferably in employee health or infection control.
