Description
The Continuing Education Department works very closely with all departments within the facility and various community agencies in order to provide for the personal and professional development of all hospital personnel. Provides continuing educational training and instruction for all employees, classes and in services for all departments, and CPR re-certification; coordinates orientation programs and maintains accurate filing and charting system for continuing education unit credits. This position reports to the Director of Human Resources.
Qualifications
High School Diploma is required. Must maintain current CPR Instructor certification. Demonstrate understanding of the teaching/learning process. Demonstrate commitment to continuing professional development. Must pose a genuine interest in people and be able to communicate with all types of people. Must be friendly, compassionate, and perceptive.
