DescriptionMedical Technologists are responsible for the examination, performance of laboratory tests and procedures, and the analysis of tissues and fluid samples to provide data for the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Medical Technologists perform a wide range of complex procedures in the general area of the Laboratory and specialized procedures in such areas as general chemistry, immunoassay, serology, microbiology, hematology/coagulation, urinalysis, blood bank, and central processing. | ||
QualificationsMust possess a current license or certification to work as a Medical Technologist. | ||
