Mandy Moye, M.D., Joins Memorial Pediatrics
Alicia Estillore, M.D. and Memorial Hospital and Manor are pleased to announce the association of Mandy Sampson Moye, M.D. with Memorial Pediatrics in Bainbridge. A native of Thomasville, Georgia, Dr. Moye graduated Summa Cum Laude from Mercer University with the Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. She received the Doctor of Medicine Degree from the Mercer University School of Medicine, and she recently completed a Residency in Pediatrics at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon. While at Mercer, Dr. Moye received the Outstanding Pediatric Resident Teaching Award and the Mercer University Dean's Choice Award.
Dr. Mandy Moye is married to Jason Moye, M.D., who joined Memorial Hospital and Manor's active medical staff last year in the practice of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Jason Moye, M.D., Joins Burke and Robinson, M.D., P.C.
Jason Moye, M.D., recently joined Dr. Dean Burke and Dr. Don Robinson of Burke and Robinson, M.D., P.C., in the practice of Obstetrics and Gynecology with their women's health practice. Dr. Moye cares for Obstetrics patients before, during and after their pregnancies. He also provides Gynecological care for women of all ages.
Dr. Burke and Dr. Robinson are both Fellows of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and both are Board Certified. Their practice centers on Medical and Surgical Gynecology, Infertility, Women's Primary Care and Health Maintenance, and Cosmetic Laser Hair and Vein Treatment. They are assisted in their practice by Claire Wells, PA-C. When contacted, the physicians and staff at Burke and Robinson, confirmed their excitement over the addition of Dr. Moye: "We feel that Dr. Moye's association with our practice will enhance the services we offer to women in Bainbridge and surrounding communities. Dr. Moye received the Doctor of Medicine degree from the St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada in 2006. He also graduated from St. George's with a Masters of Public Health degree. He completed the Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from the Florida State University. Dr. Moye completed a Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical Center of Central Georgia, Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon. While at Mercer, he received awards for Outstanding OB/GYN Resident in 2006, 2007 and 2008. He received the Laparoscopic Resident Award in 2009.
A native of Tampa, Florida, Dr. Moye is married to Mandy Sampson Moye, M.D., formerly of Thomasville. Dr. Mandy Moye is currently completing a Residency in Pediatrics at the Medical University of Central Georgia, Mercer University. Dr. Lisa Martin Joins Bainbridge Ophthalmology
Lisa Wooten Martin, O.D., recently joined Bainbridge Ophthalmology, specializing in Optometry. As an optometrist, Dr. Martin performs routine eye examinations and writes prescriptions for glasses, contact lenses and ophthalmic medications. . She also specializes in the treatment and management of ocular diseases. She received the Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2009. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the Valdosta State University in 2004 and also completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Vision Sciences from Nova Southeastern University in 2007. A native of Bainbridge, Dr. Martin is married to Brent Martin, also from Bainbridge, and has twin sons.
Bainbridge Ophthalmology opened in 2004 with Aric Aldridge, M.D., as the first full-time ophthalmologist in Bainbridge. As an ophthalmologist, Dr. Aldridge treats diseases and injuries of the eye, performs routine eye examinations for adults and children, and performs eye surgeries including phacoemulsification (cataract surgery), various glaucoma procedures, surgery for traumatic injuries, correction of misaligned eyes (strabismus), and eye lid surgery to correct vision obstruction and eyelid malposition. Dr. Aldridge is Board Certified in Ophthalmology.
Mike Sims, Dp.O., joined Bainbridge Ophthalmology as a Dispensing Optician and surgical assistant in 2005. He is qualified to fit eyeglasses and contact lenses, as prescribed by Dr. Aldridge and Dr. Martin. As a Dispensing Optician, Sims verifies prescriptions to determine the specifications of lenses, then recommends eyeglass frames, contact lenses, and lens coatings to the patient. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Opticians.
